GRANITE SPECIFICATIONS

Definition:
Granite is defined as an igneous rock consisting mainly of quartz and feldspar. Granite has the following approximate physical properties:

Absorption by weight, max, % 0.40

Modules of rupture, min, psi (Mpa) 1500

Weight:

One 12” x 12” x 3/8” granite tile = 5 lbs.
Ten tiles per box = 50 lbs. / box
36 boxes per crate = 1800 lbs. / crate
There are 360 sq. ft. per crate

Size:
Sizes available in stock are:

12” x 12” by 3/8” thick

6” x 6” by 3/8” thick

4” x 4” by 3/8” thick

Any other requested sizes are available on special order. Please allow 4 – 5 weeks for delivery.

Colors and Patterns:
We currently stock 15 different granite colors and patterns. We have a large variety of different shades and colors and we also stock large quantities of each.

We have access to dozens of other colors and patterns and can bring them in for stock or special order on request.
